What’s your fantasy?
I wake up, my debt is all paid off, my bank account is full, my relationships with my family are healthy, and I’m able to travel anywhere in the world.
reblog for this ultimate fantasy life to come true
In the most ‘Greek theatre’ of ways, this is a tragedy. Tragedies are meant to teach onlookers: “See how these rich idiots, despite their riches, cannot escape the consequences of their actions, their hubris, and their defiance of the laws of common sense and decency? See their awful demise? Don’t be like them.”
Some of y’all clearly were normal and didn’t have a titanic obsession in elementary school bc I thought it was common knowledge that not even 40% of first class died on the titanic, those who did were majorly poor immigrants looking for a better life
I get why people are talking about the whole submarine titanic thing.
It’s awful.
But I’m here to address a different boat related tragedy.
One that absolutely breaks my heart.
Where a boat of migrants sank off the coast of Greece.
This boat had 300 Pakistanis and more than 500 Syrians.
The boat was carrying migrants from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Syria and Egypt who were fleeing their countries dire economic conditions.
And we’re trying to reach relatives in Europe.
What happened with the submarine is a terrible thing.
I just wish this story got the same coverage.
One is about billionaires the other about people escaping economic disasters.
Both about people losing their lives.
This definitely reminds me of the captain, Carola Rackete, who rescued 42 refugees at sea was facing jail time for her kindness and for helping them—because Italy’s policy was to NOT help refugees at sea.

There are two completely different standards for rescues at sea, depending on your country of origin and your skin color.
And refugees and asylum seekers from the global south are treated just as badly on land.
These glaring double standards are racism, plain and simple.
And for the record, anyone and everyone from the Greek Coastguard ship who helped sink the boat full of innocent men, women and children need to face a lifetime in prison.
Genuinely love everything about Daniel and Peggy’s dynamic in season two. He’s so supportive of everything she wants to do, to the point where it goes well past sweet and just becomes straight up hilarious.
She tells him she wants to break into Hugh Jones’ office, his response is “Here, take this memory inhibitor to zap the guy so you don’t get caught.”
He finds out she wants to raid the Roxxon facility to steal uranium rods, and he’s like “Yeah totally, lemme just use this salami to practice disarming an atomic bomb.”
When she wants to spring Dottie Underwood from prison, he’s like “Okay, you bring the psychiatrist disguise, I’ll bring the cartoonishly silly electrified net.”
Hell, when he finds out she committed a felony by kidnapping a guy, he’s mostly just mad that he didn’t know about it sooner so he could help.
The man will literally go along with every chaotic and reckless thing Peggy comes up with. Love that for him.
They are INSANE for this pic. I knew it would be good but this has me FERAL. And all the talk about how romantic and spicy and hot it is? It’s legit going to kill me wake me up in December Polin I LOVE YOU 😭😭😭
